UMT launched the 8th generation of the famous Volkswagen Passat in the Palestinian market. With now a slimmer body and a more stylish design than it’s predecessor paired with the innovative German engineering to set a new level of comfort and safety.

 

The new generation is now equipped with a 4 cylinder 1.8 liter engine with 180 braking horsepower paired with a 7 speed automatic transmission to provide the vehicle with a better performance the ever. The new Passat has also slimmer headlights with sharper angels than its predecessors. New front grille, side lines that are clearer and distinguished. Plus the new rear bumper design has the exhaust tips beautifully joined together.

Mr. Sameh AlMasri emphasized that “UMT always makes sure to choose the proper vehicle specifications for the Palestinian customer and market.” He also added:” the new Passat is revolutionary in its category carrying the highest level of German engineering and equipped with the latest innovations, the new Passat is the biggest and most spacious between its predecessors. Which is why I expect higher sales figures than before especially that the new Passat is now targeting all of the age groups.”

The new Passat is now 2 mm shorter 12 mm wider and the roof is now 6 mm lower than before. It is now 85 Kilograms lighter than the 7th generation of the Passat. Giving it higher efficiency and economy. With the highest safety levels available. 

The New Passat won the best European vehicle for the year 2015 beating its competitors and also wining the golden steering wheel award.
